MEET THE GENEALOGY EXPERTS
Here's the roster of presenters this year:

Mike Bollinger. Mike gives yearly talks at London’s prestigious Society of Genealogists and is considered one of the most knowledgeable Family Tree Maker instructors in the UK.  His talks will focus on what's new in FTM 2017:

 • FamilySearch - Searching, matching & merging
 • FamilySync™-  An upgrade from TreeSync®
 • Color Coding - Tracing you past
 • Photo Darkroom™ - Elegantly simple editing tools

Duff Wilson. Duff was the product manager for Family Tree Maker at Ancestry for more than a decade, will be presenting an overview of our new FTM 2017 edition.  Duff is now part of Ancestry’s DNA product team, and can answer your questions about using DNA results to further your family history research.

Stefan Harms.  Stefan, the creator of Family Book Creator, will talk about how his product lets you preserve your legacy by producing beautiful, full length books from the data you’ve worked so hard to input into Family Tree Maker.

Pierre Clouthier. Pierre, the creator of Charting Companion by Progeny Software of which he leads, will show how his this extraordinary plugin can take the data from Family Tree Maker and create a wide range of charts not otherwise available  — from descendent fan charts to dandelion charts.

Tahitia McCabe. We are delighted to welcome back Tahitia McCabe, the Knowledge Exchange Fellow from the University of Strathclyde’s graduate degree programme in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies, to speak in our main theatre.  Additionally, three of her graduate students will be leading a few sessions. Family Tree Maker continues to be the genealogy software chosen by Strathclyde for use in its graduate genealogy courses since the course was created more than a decade ago.
