Merging Source Groups in Family Tree Maker

With Family Tree Maker open:

1. Click the Edit menu and select Manage Sources.

   

2. In the Manage Sources window, find and select the source group you want to replace and click the Replace button.

   

3. Now, in the Replace Sources window that appears, find and select the replacement source group and click OK.

   

4. In the Replace Source Title window, confirm the sources are being replaced as you want and click Yes.

   

5. This source has now been replaced. All citations previously listed under it will now be listed under the replacement source group.
