How do I open a tree with Family Tree Maker?

Family Tree Maker 2009-2012​

  1. Click the Plan button on the main toolbar. The Trees section on the right side of the window lists the trees that you’ve recently worked on

  2. To open a tree from this list, double-click the tree name. You can also highlight the tree and click Options>Open Tree

Note: If the tree is not in the list, click OptionsOpen Tree, browse to the location of the file, and then open it.

 

Family Tree Maker 2014

  1. Click the Plan button on the main toolbar. The Trees section located on the lower left-hand side of window lists the trees that you’ve recently worked on.

  2. To open a tree from this list, double-click the tree name. You can also highlight the tree and click Options, then Open Tree.
