How do I rename a tree in Family Tree Maker 2017 for Windows?
To rename a tree in Family Tree Maker, please follow the steps below.
1. Select the Plan workspace, then click the New Tree tab.
2. From the Open a tree box (located in the lower-left corner), highlight the tree you want to rename.
3. Click the Options button, then click Rename Tree from the drop-down menu.
4. Enter the new tree name in the field, then click OK.
The new tree name will now be displayed in the Open a tree.
