The Share or Option menus don't display in Family Tree Maker

Answer ID 5324
Why don’t the Share or Options menus display in Family Tree Maker?

When using one monitor, Family Tree Maker is designed to constrain the menus on the right side of the screen to display inward. However, if you use multiple monitors and have Family Tree Maker on the left one, these menus will display outward, extending on to the additional monitor.

In the situation where you only use one monitor and the Share or Options menus appear cut off, most likely your computer has multiple monitors turned on and these menus are displaying off screen. For steps correcting this, please see the section below for the specific version of Windows you are using.

Disabling extended desktop in:

Windows 8

  1. If you are not already in the Desktop view, please select the Desktop App.
