What is the best way to enter names suffixes for a person in Family Tree Maker?

Name suffixes (such as Sr., Jr., III, etc.) for individuals in your tree are best entered after the last name for the person. Family Tree Maker will automatically detect the suffix and list the person properly.

Example 1 - When entering a new person in the People workspace, simply add your suffix in the Name field.

Example 2 - Using the Edit Panel in the People Workspace.

On the right hand side of the Family Tree Maker, in the Information Panel, simply click in the Name field and add your suffix.
