Merging place names in Family Tree Maker

How do I merge Place names in Family Tree Maker?
- Click the Places workspace button at the top of the screen
- Select the place from the list on the left that you want to replace with another
- Click the Place menu from the top, and select Replace with other place name...
- Family Tree Maker 2009 will say, Merge with other place
- Select the name you want to replace this name with from the Index of Places window that opens, and click OK
- You will receive a prompt asking to confirm the Place name replacing. Click Yes
- The Place name has now been merged/replaced with the new one
