Ancestry Login Issue in FTM 2017 and FTM 2019

If you are using FTM 2017 or FTM 2019 for Windows, you may encounter an issue while attempting to use Ancestry-connected features (such as web search and sync) where you are unable to log in to Ancestry.

For FTM 2019 users, you can simply apply the latest free 24.2 update, which resolves this problem (and includes many other fixes and new features).  Click here to get the update now.  For more information about the free 24.2 update please click here.

For FTM 2017 users, our engineers are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.  If you have an urgent need to sync, or if there are features in FTM 2019 that you are interested in, you could consider taking the opportunity to upgrade now.  Click here for our current upgrade offer for FTM 2019.  That said, if you aren't yet interested in upgrading to FTM 2019, you'll simply have to wait until we have a fix ready for FTM 2017.
