Importing images from iPhoto into Family Tree Maker

With Family Tree Maker open:

  1. Click the Media workspace button.

  2. Click the Add button in the upper right and select Add New Media.

  3. In the Find Media window, scroll down the file tree on the left and select Photos under Media.

  4. Expand the option for iPhoto in the pane on the right and select Photos.

    • Items can be added from Aperture in the same way.

  5. Find and select the photo you want to import and click Open.

    • You can also select more than one photo by holding down shift an clicking each photo.

  6. The Copy to Media folder window will open. Choose the desired settings this media item and click OK.

  7. The images will now be displayed in the Media workspace.
