How do I fix Family Tree Maker window display issues on Windows PCs?
Windows allows you to use scaling to increase the size of text and other items on the screen. When you use scaling in this way, Windows magnifies the size of text and UI elements to the scale you choose.
If text is not displaying correctly, use the steps below to disable DPI scaling for Family Tree Maker.
1. Locate the Family Tree Maker shortcut on the desktop, taskbar, or Start menu.
OR
2. Right-click on the shortcut and select Properties from the drop-down list.
3. The Properties dialog window will appear. Select the Compatibility tab.
4. Check the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings box. Then select OK.
5. Restart Family Tree Maker to confirm the problem has been resolved.
